Not that impressive.

The thing that gets me is the control of the player is not suited for this kind of game at all. Too little control, too "slippery", and way too sensitive for the scale it's in.

Could be much better executed, although the tetris playing is pretty awesome.

Extremely glitchy.

I fell through the floor...
And everything keeps bouncing...
And the music just...stops...
And the controls are awkward...
And shooting is impossible to aim when things are near you...
OTHER THAN THAT it's kind of fun.

...why is this on the front page?

Looks like a butchered replica of the fishy concept with a little twist.
Controls are awkward, hitTest was too sensitive...why use a circle if it's still testing the rectangle bounding box? Fix some of that, and perhaps a better game.

Arrow keys and a slippery control where precision would be best...

Maybe next time.

What the crap...?

Either I'm retarded, or it's messed up for me.
It gets past the first set, and tells me I'm semi-intelligent.
Then it says "Let's Continue..."...I hear typing and beeping, but no change. Left it on for 3 - 4 minutes, nothing. Gave up, tried again, same thing.

Oh well, was excited to see what I'd get.

K-Guare responds:

Thats not normal, try opening the movie in a popup,
that seems to have fixed the other people who were having errors.

Uhh...

Try to make an AI of sorts...think about doing things like using indexOf rather than using just exact string evaluation (as in, it HAS TO BE THIS, and you always get THIS responce [which is what you have -- if input is exactly this, this is result]). It's an okay attempt to make a bot -- but not something flash portal worthy.

Like I said, look up "indexOf", and you may have better luck at making an interactive bot. Also, look up "soundex" for ideas on an advanced bot.

Dark-Muse responds:

ok thanks!

Beautiful!

I loved it =D! Couple of scattered spelling errors, but other than that, flawless!
I'd love to see future 'episodes' of this game...mayhaps a series =o! (most def. would NOT kill the idea, it's pretty fresh around here...)
Just a couple of...'kinks'...I felt I had solved before I had finished talking to everyone and proving 'innocence', I sort of felt that was..."hand fed" (proving them innocent, at least)

On a completely different note, I'd LOVE to congratulate you on the most amazing still backgrounds I've seen in a Flash game! I loved the backgrounds, and how well they looked! They didn't have that flat "vector" look, they had a significant depth and feel to them. I was fun just to see how far you could push Flash's vectors (and it's hard to believe that it was all done in flash! Usuially, people make the still BGs in Photoshop, and just import them [then they look out of place with animated vectors on them XD!]).

Bravo!

Excellent remake of Lemmings! Amazingly done in Flash (must've taken a good while)! Just one complaint, it would be nice if you came up with a bit more levels of your own...but whatever, level design is the easy part -- the hard part is the game engine, which you made flawlessly.

So, now the fun part. To all of you jackasses saying "Z0mg, I CAN BLOW THE WHISTLE ON THE NEEenenenener1241244!$#", no, you can't. Why? Because he didn't 'steal' anything. He gave credit to Lemmings, as per his inspiration + game idea, and he made the entire game himself. Also, yo all of you wankers saying "I CAN JUST CHANGE THE GRAPHICS!!" No, again, you're restarted, shut up, you have no right to talk. He didn't just download a Lemmings script and change graphics, that would be stealing + whistle worthy, instead, he made his own graphics, his own scripts, and his own everything. He just took game idea. Remember that sonic remake? It went through the portal not so long ago. Here: "www newgrounds com/portal/view/151706". Remember that?! Is that fucking stealing? NO! WHY? BECAUSE HE PROGRAMMED EVERYTHING.

Uhhh...

I don't know how your went about tracking if the boxes were circled / how high the tolerance was, but there were a LOT of times when I circled a box, and nothing happened, and I didn't circle a box, and it turned red (which was annoying because my mouse wasn't in the right place to hit it).

Peturo responds:

There are 4 points around the square that you have to hit in order for it to register that you have circled the square but the squares spin so sometimes if you just let your mouse sit there some of the squares will turn red, likewise if you are moving in the direction the square is moving you might double back on a point you have already crossed and the order will go out of sync, thats why the square spin you have to go around them in a certain direction CW and CCW :)

Eh...

There's a TON of things that annoyed me with this game...although my undeniable love of RTS games kept me playing.
Things that annoyed the crap out of me:
1. My unites suicide?! What the crap? I'm sending in rocket-launcher armed men, and they would rather suicide? That was a huge negative. It ruined the strategy of the game.
2. About 4 levels in, I'm seeing tanks, flame tanks, and flame thrower units being tossed at me...and I still couldn't make anything new. What's up with that?
3. It takes AGES to really WIN a level. Albeit I'm not even paying attention to the game - mostly spamming unit queues and doing other things, checking back every once in a while.
4. I'm sorry but, where's the real strategy in it? I mean, unit queues can't even take different unit types...let alone the very minimal economy management. >_>!

Things that I sort of liked:
1. It's an RTS, XD!
2. Things went 'boom'.
3. It ran well - no glitches - but it wasn't too too...exciting?

It's an okay game -- just not that...complex, EXTREMLY simple...I mean, the greatest RTS games of all time (StarCraft, Warcraft, Age of Empires [sort of :/]) had 1 thing in semi-common, especially SC, and that's Micro Management (Microing). Without that, there's not too much to the strategy :/.

I liked it!

The music was...interesting...I rather liked it :D! It was really fun to listen to. Other than that, I liked the idea a lit, and not too much could be changed. Something that was annoying though: Play music didn't work for me, so I had to refresh entire flash to get it to start again (I liked it that much :3!)

THERE IS NOTHING ABOUT ME.
